Benoît grew up on the beach in San Juan, where he spent his early years on movie and commercial sets, drawing storyboards while juggling coconuts and working on his tan. He studied filmmaking in New York, and immediately found success as an editor on a variety of spots, shorts, and music videos. Ben soon made the jump to directing, and has shot campaigns for global brands such as AT&T, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Nestlé, Walgreens, The Home Depot, and Visa, to name a few.
With a focus on emotional stories that warm the heart, Benoît's commercials and branded content have won awards at Cannes Lions, Ad Age, New York Festivals, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Festival Cúspide, Festival Caribe, and others. His films have been showcased in SHOTS, Latin Spots, Ad Latina, Noisey, and more. Above all, he cultivates a truly collaborative approach between clients, agencies, and crew.
Based in NYC, Ben spends his free time perfecting a secret recipe for the ultimate pizza. His pepperoni pie has earned him several marriage proposals, and an arrest warrant in Italy.
